By registering for, accessing, or participating in any MetaChem Academy program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms.
1. General Information
MetaChem Academy is owned and operated by Dr. Syed Zahid Hassan, Research Professor at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea. Past affiliations include Tokyo Metropolitan University (Japan), IISER Pune (India), and IISER Thiruvananthapuram (India).
MetaChem Academy is an independent educational entity and currently has no affiliation with any university, college, or government institution. All programs, workshops, and certificates are independently designed, organized, and issued by MetaChem Academy LLP.

2. Registration & Payment
- Register only through official MetaChem Academy channels (forms hosted on our website or verified Google Forms shared by MetaChem Academy).
- After registering, submit proof of payment (screenshot or transaction confirmation) via:
- Due to participant volume, instant confirmation may not always be possible. If you have registered and paid but have not received access details, you must proactively contact us via the channels above before the workshop begins.
3. Workshop Access & Communication
- Zoom links, workshop materials, quizzes, and recordings are shared via the registered email and the official WhatsApp group.
- Participants are responsible for joining the designated WhatsApp group and checking email (including spam/junk folders). Failure to do so is considered a participant-side issue; refunds or re-sessions will not be offered for missed access.
4. Certificates
- Certificates are awarded only to participants who meet all workshop requirements, including attendance and completion of any required quiz/feedback.
- Some workshops require a Google Form quiz to qualify for certification.
- If you cannot attend live due to unavoidable circumstances, inform MetaChem Academy in advance to be considered for certification via recording participation.
- No certificate will be issued if you neither attend live nor notify us in advance.
5. Refund Policy
- Request refunds by emailing info@metachemacademy.com within 7 days of the scheduled workshop date.
- No refunds once a Zoom link has been issued or accessed.
- Approved refunds exclude payment gateway/transfer fees.
- Refunds, once approved, are processed and sent within 7 working days of confirmation.
- If a refund is approved, you will not receive a certificate and you must not request recordings or post-session materials.
- Refunds are assessed case-by-case at the sole discretion of MetaChem Academy LLP.
6. Participant Conduct
- Maintain professional, respectful behavior in sessions and official channels.
- Use materials solely for personal educational purposes; do not share Zoom links, recordings, or content without written permission.
- Disruptive behavior or rights/privacy violations may result in denied participation or certification without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in MetaChem Academy materials (slides, quizzes, recordings, designs, logos, and certificates) belongs to MetaChem Academy LLP. Unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, or resale is prohibited. Participants receive a non-exclusive, personal license for educational use only.
8. Liability Disclaimer
- While efforts are made to ensure accuracy, MetaChem Academy does not guarantee specific learning outcomes, placements, or research results.
- MetaChem Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
- Participation in laboratory/practical sessions (if applicable) is at the participant’s own risk and requires adherence to all safety instructions.
9. Future Vision & Organizational Structure
MetaChem Academy is managed by Dr. Syed Zahid Hassan and Mrs. Iffat Jahan under MetaChem Academy LLP. The organization operates independently without institutional sponsorship. Future collaborations with educational and industrial partners may be pursued while maintaining independent governance and transparency.
10. Changes to Terms
MetaChem Academy LLP may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the official website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
